It's more like a series of cookie cutter DBZ stories, as if it is something that you would expect if a 'western' DBZ fan wrote a DBZ maybe there is a certain divine artifact or magical spell that the Kaioshins possess that can be used to cripple part of Buu's incredible power. It doesn't have the Akira Toriyama magic. GT went the classic route which I think was good for what it was trying to achieve until it suffers from the DBZ identity crisis. Goku could have his fantastic 'DragonBall-esque' (original) adventure in the afterlife (if some fans want that kind of story)Д«uu saga sucks in my opinion, too many random toon-logic, too dragged out, and Buu was just a plain silly and stupid antagonist if compared to the three previous bosses (Vegeta, Freeza, and Cell). The Videl and Gohan dynamic was a nice change of pace.ДЄnd Gohan being more of a typical human who had to deal with typical human problems was more relatable than the battle junkie Goku.ДЄ Kid-Trunks side story would be nice too.ДЄnd Vegeta and Bulma relationship would be a great parallel for Videl-Gohan with a great promise of character develpment. Give Gohan a more establish presence as a proper main character replacement for Goku.ДЇocusing on some power fantasy/god-among-mortals storyline. From this point on, the sports-like fighting course became very popular, especially among young people.I would really want if the series just expanded it a little bit more on the Great Saiyaman Saga. Afterwards, Pan asked Bulma to help her develop a system for people to battle each other across long distances so that she could create a ' Telecommunicated Martial Arts Dojo'.
